Theosinesis: Journal of Integrative Understanding and Ethical Praxis is an international peer-reviewed journal that fosters scholarly dialogue and critical reflection in the field of interdisciplinary theology. It seeks to bridge theoretical inquiry and ethical praxis by integrating faith traditions, scientific insights, and contemporary contextual challenges.

Kata Theosynesis berasal dari gabungan dua istilah: “Theos” yang berarti ilahi atau berkaitan dengan ketuhanan, dan “synesis” dari bahasa Yunani yang berarti pemahaman atau pengertian mendalam. Secara filosofis, Theosynesis mengandung makna sebagai upaya mencapai pemahaman holistik mengenai realitas keagamaan, bukan hanya dalam tataran teologis atau dogmatis, melainkan juga melalui pendekatan multidisipliner yang mencakup filsafat, etika, budaya, dan kehidupan sosial. Istilah ini menekankan bahwa pemahaman tentang yang ilahi tidak berhenti pada teori, tetapi harus diwujudkan dalam praxis etis—yakni penerapan nilai-nilai keagamaan untuk menjawab tantangan moral, sosial, dan kemanusiaan kontemporer. Dengan demikian, Theosynesis merepresentasikan sintesis antara pemahaman transendental dan aksi etis dalam kehidupan nyata.

Saat ini, Theosinesis: Journal of Integrative Understanding and Ethical Praxis tengah proses indeksasi dengan sejumlah platform pengindeks populer yaitu Goggle Schoolar, ISSN, Moraref, Garuda, Dimension. Kami berkomitmen menaikkan level indeks jurnal ke sejumlah pengindeksan lainnya yang populer dan memiliki reputasi global dalam tata kelola publikasi ilmiah. 

Focus and Scope:

Theosinesis welcomes contributions that explore theological issues through interdisciplinary lenses, including but not limited to:

• Systematic theology and philosophy of religion
• Theological ethics and social justice
• Contextual theologies (gender, culture, ecology, etc.)
• Practical theology and religious studies
• Interfaith dialogue and religious pluralism
• Intersections of theology with social sciences, psychology, technology, and the arts

We encourage critical, creative, and collaborative approaches that enrich faith understanding, broaden human horizons, and inspire transformative ethical action.

Aims of the Journal:

Theosinesis serves as an academic space to cultivate a synthesis between deep theological reflection (understanding) and responsible, justice-oriented engagement (ethical praxis), responding to the complexities of our time with theological depth and contextual sensitivity.
