Implementation of Inventory Management in Supporting the Operational Effectiveness of Toko Takdir in Jenggolo Village, Jenu District, Tuban Regency

This study aims to analyze the implementation of inventory management at Toko Takdir, located in Jenggolo Village, Jenu District, Tuban Regency. The research focuses on how the store manages planning, procurement, storage, recording, and inventory control to support smooth operational activities. Data were collected through interviews with the store owner, direct observation of inventory management practices, and documentation such as stock records and purchase notes. The results indicate that Toko Takdir still applies a simple, manual inventory management system without technological support. However, this approach remains effective in maintaining product availability and service continuity. The store’s operational stability is mainly sustained through the owner’s experience, close customer relationships, and coordination with suppliers, despite facing limitations in resources and challenges from shifting economic conditions.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi manajemen persediaan barang dilakukan pada Toko Takdir di Desa Jenggolo, Kecamatan Jenu, Kabupaten Tuban. Fokus penelitian meliputi proses perencanaan, pengadaan, penyimpanan, pencatatan, dan pengendalian persediaan dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional toko. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pemilik toko, observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas pengelolaan stok, serta dokumentasi berupa catatan persediaan dan nota pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem manajemen persediaan di Toko Takdir masih dilakukan secara sederhana dan manual tanpa dukungan teknologi. Meskipun demikian, praktik tersebut tetap mampu menjaga ketersediaan barang dan kelancaran pelayanan kepada konsumen. Faktor pengalaman, kedekatan dengan pelanggan, serta koordinasi dengan supplier menjadi kunci utama dalam menjaga stabilitas operasional toko, meskipun dihadapkan pada keterbatasan sumber daya dan perubahan kondisi ekonomi masyarakat.
