Strengthening Teachers’ Pedagogical Competence through TPACK-Based Training

This community service program aimed to strengthen teachers’ pedagogical competence through TPACK-based training in response to the growing demands of digital transformation in education. The program was conducted at MTs Al-Ma’ruf Sumber Nangka Pamekasan through several stages, including needs analysis, workshops, hands-on practice, and classroom implementation mentoring. Teachers were trained to integrate technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge using digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Canva, Quizizz, and AI-based educational tools. The evaluation employed pre-test and post-test assessments, classroom observations, and reviews of TPACK-based instructional materials. The findings revealed a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of TPACK, with average scores increasing from 56.4 to 81.3. Teachers also demonstrated enhanced ability to design interactive digital learning, implement technology-integrated instruction, and foster students’ learning motivation and engagement. Overall, the training effectively promoted innovative, adaptive, and technology-oriented pedagogical practices in 21st-century learning.
Abstrak
Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui pelatihan berbasis TPACK sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan transformasi digital pendidikan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Ma’ruf Sumber Nangka Pamekasan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, workshop, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan implementasi pembelajaran. Guru dilatih mengintegrasikan teknologi, pedagogik, dan konten pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan platform digital seperti Google Classroom, Canva, Quizizz, serta perangkat berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI). Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi pembelajaran, serta penilaian perangkat ajar berbasis TPACK. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru terhadap konsep TPACK dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 56,4 menjadi 81,3. Guru juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam merancang pembelajaran digital interaktif, mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, serta meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan belajar peserta didik. Secara umum, pelatihan ini efektif mendorong praktik pedagogik yang inovatif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada pembelajaran abad ke-21.
